Obira is a minor island in Indonesia. It located just south of the major Halmahera in the Maluku Islands. Its land area is about 2542 square kilometers.

James Ross Island
James Ross Island is a long island near the northeastern extremity of Antarctic Peninsula. It is separated from great land by Prince Gustav Channel. It is irregularly shaped and rising to 1,630 meters. The island extends 64 kilometers in a southern direction. James Ross Island was maped by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition under command of Otto Nordenskiöld. The island was named for Sir James Clark Ross. He was leader of a British expedition to this land. Sir James Clark Ross was approximately charted a number of areas along the eastern site of the island.
Around the Graham Land peninsula spread more several islands besides James Ross Island. It is closer than any other part of South America.
James Ross Island was coherent to the Antarctic major land by an ice shelf. It makes the Prince Gustav Channel practicable for the first time. On the island is located the first Czech Antarctic Base.
Antarctopelta oliveroi was the first dinosaur formerly discovered in Antarctica. The ankylosaur was a medium size. Argentinian geologists Roberto Scasso and Eduardo Olivero are first who discovered an ankylosaur on James Ross Island in 1986. The Campanian stage of the Upper Cretaceous Santa Marta Formation was recovered the dinosaur. Their excavation was about 2 kilometers south of Santa Marta Cove.
The geologist James Martin from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and the paleontologist Judd Case from Saint Mary’s College of California discovered the remains of a theropod dinosaur on James Ross Island. The Late Cretaceous bones include a tooth and upper jaw, and most of the feet and lower legs. This dinosaur is the second Antarctic theropod examination, after Cryolophosaurus.

Moresby Island
Moresby Island is an island that forms part of the Queen Charlotte Islands archipelago in British Columbia, Canada. Haida Heritage Site and Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve includes Moresby and many other islands. Moresby, together with its nearby smaller islets in the southern part of the archipelago, is recorded by Statistics Canada as Skeena-Queen Charlotte E. The island supports a population of 402 people. Almost all of them resided in the reunification community of Sandspit. It’s there on the northeast corner of the island. The total surface of Moresby Island is 3,399.39 square kilometers in area. With this size it is the 175th largest island in the world, and the Canad’s 32nd largest island.
Rear Admiral Fairfax Moresby first give a name of the island. The original name in the Haida language is Gwaii Haanas. This name derived from the national park.
